LED Taillights : Yamaha R6 : R6 Forum

Wondering the law here in Mass about taillights on R6. I can get either the clear version or smoked. I was told the smoked version is illegal in the state, but can not find any info stating that. Wondering if anyone knows off hand. Thanks for all the help.

Will be going on 08 Blue R6.

It is technically not allowed, but most of us in this state have had it. Where are you located. If your near me, feel free to ask where to get it inspected.

I recently sold my bike, and am in the market for a track bike. So lights nolonger are an issue for me.

I am located in Bedford on Hanscom AFB. Think I will go with clear version, same price and I think it will look nicer instead of smoked.
