I love my bt016-pros. Stuck well at Laguna seca. Q2s don't last very long, atleast so I hear.
I have about 2k miles on mine they seem as if there is ton's of life left in them.

Wow, you have done 8 track days on a set of Q2's? I'd be lucky to get a weekend out of a set without the sides being toast.

OP, I have had the BT016's on my bike for a few years(3 sets). The wear on the street is awesome. As for the track, well that is a different story. 3 TD's on a front (after flipping) and 2 on a rear(flipped also), granted this was at Jennings..... I switched to Dunlop Daytona spec DOT's, and wow what a difference. Went from low 1:40's upper 1:30's to low 1:30's maybe even a high 1:20 or two. didn't change anything else on the bike between the different tires other than rearsets, suspension was set exactly the same.
I've only done 1 TD on the Dunlops, so I really cant say how long they will last.
If you're going to be doing a track day soon then definitely go with the Q2, they will give you phenomenal grip. I run STT advanced and NESBA I and they're excellent tires. The S20s are great as well though, and are cheaper than Q2's, 220 on Jakewilson.com shipped. I ran the BT016 old model on my cbr1000rr for 6 months and loved them, and my buddy with the new set on his 1000rr loves them as well, and says they're better than the old model. IMO, from best to least best, I would rate it at Q2, S20, BT016.
However, the S20 and Q2 are very close in quality, but for lean angle grip and speed on the track, you can't go wrong with the Q2's. The technology comes from the GP-A line.

You going to Jennings on the weekend of Dec 15th? We've gotta get together if you do. My parents had a house in Ormond Beach for a while, but they sold it a few years ago. Good memories down there
