I know you can't diagnose over a forum very well. But here's my dilemma. I work more than I have a chance to work on the bike. Which at the moment I have a list of cutting my yoshi, repairing rectifier, fixing coolant leak and this.
It's sometimes helpful to get my ideas out and y'all's in so the limited time I have to work on bike can be better spent.
After getting my bike back from being stolen, I replaced a few things noticed the chain was loose. Tightened it and aligned it.
Now my first test ride I could hear something just wasn't right around the rear, it sound like the chain was hitting, grinding or stiff when taking off from a dead stop. Today while I was teaching a friend how to ride, well not ride but sit on it and release clutch and slowly move, I noticed the chain coming off the top of the sprocket seemed to come off rough and bounce as if the sprocket wasn't in line with the chain.
Now I haven't had time to look at it as I was soon after busy inspecting coolant hoses and rectifier.
I know wjen I tightened the chain I aligned the wheel according to the marks on the swing arm. I haven't had a chance to inspect it for alignment since, but does anyone have any ideas as to why the chain isn't playing well with the sprocket?
