I think the mirror request is one of the reasons redisdead listed.
Also, if you ever go to the track, you've likely seen one of those last generation camaros or firebirds hit a mid track bump and blow one of the t-tops off, which flies up in there air and comes down and shatters...

Don't think it has something to do with aerodynamics... These are designed to be.

its a 2005 with an m4 exhaust, k&n air filter, and its lowered 3" in the rear. In the spring I want to add a power commander, quickshifter, lower the front forks, and get a -1 front sprocket. Hopefully this will get me in the 9s

Ill be the first to say that I HATE the NHRA, its bullshit politics, its asskissing, and its flip-flopping dirtbags in positions to make rulings.
Lol that's ridiculous. I wonder what would happen if they just deregulated racing in general. Might get interesting...

ABSOLUTELY FALSE. Do your research. Ricky Gadson did it on a 2005 r6 lowered with a -1 front sprocket. 9.92.

I stand corrected. You have to be pretty damn good though, no?

Sure, but its certainly doable, and with more mods, you can be fatter and slower and still do it.
