Rizoma Bar end install

Hi guys,

I've done a lot of searching, but coudln't find anything on getting these bar ends installed on a 03 - 05 R6

The screws it came with is smaller than the stock threads. Do I need to remove the thread inserts? And anyone know how I can do that?
