Help please - R6 - White/creamy substance in engine...

Never seen oil turn milky white from a HG. Chocolate Milk, yes, Whole Milk or 2%? No. Plus he said isn't on the dipstick.

Also, if you had that much water mixed in with your oil, you would notice that your oil level is high and your coolant level would probably be low. Check the overflow reservoir to see coolant level.

If the bike has been sitting for awhile its probly condensation mixed with oxidation of the aluminum. Start the bike up and let it idle till the fans cycle on then off twice, then shut the motor off. Now that the motor is good and warm take the oil cap off and let it sit, any moisture will be baked out from the heat. Or you could just go ride the piss out of it.

When checking her oil I usually see a milky white substance when I pull out the dipstick.

Try sticking it in one of her other holes and see if you get a different reading.

It is likely just condensation in the engine that vaporizes with the heat, then mixes with a small amount of the oil and adheres to the oil cap where it recondenses. Its probably not a big deal if the engine is still running and acting as it should. Keep checking the oil at the dipstick or sightglass for a while and if the condition persists of gets worse, you likely have a blown headgasket, at which point it will begin to consume coolant. If that is the case, it would belong before the thing wont run right, and then not start. Just keep checking your levels of coolant and condition of the oil and you should be fine. If it does get worse though, deal with it, dont ride it till it blows.
