getting better?

For those of you who have been riding for a while, do you still get that awesome sensation when you know your skills are improving?

There are some days when I go out and ride like crap.... (usually the colder days) when you are so stiff and cant move.

But then there are days like today in the 60s when you can tell your improving..
(then again I have less than a 1000 miles under my belt).

Today I started to move around in my seat and starting sticking out my elbows a bit and realized it was much easier to tackle the turns that I usually had to slow down for...

Bike: A slow one.
Re: getting better?

I thought I was super fast... and then I got on the track, and finally after ~15 days on the track over two seasons I can really see some significant improvement of my skills. "Killin' the streets" is pretty over rated.

Re: getting better?

Street riding can only take you so far. Take it to the track if you want to improve and be humbled.

Thats just my 2 cents. but I will speak from experience come next Spring.
