So you just bought it, then took the pictures before you went home. Right? Were they too cheap to put gas in the f:::n thing? Wow. Certainly a nice ride.

Hahah yup pretty much, lol.... gave it to me slap empty. But they did give me $50 worth of gas to drive it around the 2 weeks prior when I had drove it home several times so I'm really the one that run all the gas out of it. For getting it at cost I can't really complain... but a full tank would have been nice, lol (or at least enough to get home)
And thanks guys.... glad you like. I really like it a lot... lots of room for everybody but still not a tank to drive, and still gets decent MPG (I'm curious to see what it gets on a long trip.... prob be taking it to Alabama next month when we go to the Barber Museum so we'll see...). Hopefully it holds up and treats me good. I always take good care of my stuff so I doubt I'll have any major probs out of it. I've been working at Ford for 9 years now so I've been there since these cars first came out in 2007, and I've not seen a single engine or transmission problem whatsoever. Couple rear wheel bearings, couple PTU seal leaks, and that's really about it. So we'll see how long it lasts for me! I'm gonna go through and change out all the fluids (P/S, brake, trans, coolant, etc) and prob put some new plugs and belts in it too just to start with a clean slate that way I know when it was done, and add a tranny cooler too just to be on the safe side. Also gonna go through the interior with some Lexol to condition the leather and keep it soft. I'm really not putting a ton of miles on the 4 wheeled vehicles though, my bike is still my DD so I put more miles on that than anything else, so it'll prob be a good while before this one even sees 200k
Now first thing in order is to get the front windows tinted to match the back

Thanks!! It really is like brand new condition... you'd never know it had 97k just looking at it. Even the leather and everything is perfect condition, and floor mats are spotless. I really don't think I could have found a cleaner example of a pre-owned car. Underneath is spotless too, not a spec of rust anywhere, clean as a whistle. And the weird part is, it sat out on the lot for almost 3 months... not sure if the mileage scared people away or what

Oh yea tinted front windows are first on the list, then getting the smoked headlights and taillights from the '09-10 Edge sport, getting rid of the chrome grille and fog light bezels and going monochrome. Should look pretty good, I do believe!
