Here is an example of Red Bull throwing cash around...
Guy I used to ride with in college got a job this summer with Red Bull marketing and moved to Bama. Purpose of his marketing team is to target college students on the University of Alabama campus. He was assigned to a team of 3 to go to the fraternity/sorority houses and give them free cases for parties. They also have a tailgate booth at all home games and provide free samples of Red Bull.
Pretty kosher job and he is currently trying to get them to sponsor him in amateur MX racing.
Red Bull is such an bad ass and incredibly smart company. They are definitely horrible for you health wise, as they are packed with sugar and caffeine though. Personally, I drink them rarely, and that's usually if it's the only available source of quick energy. I prefer 5 hour energy drinks. They are much better for you.
