How to kick-start an r6
So I decided to let my uncle take my R6 out for a spin before work (BTW don't EVER do that), so him being the old fart he is, thought it was a kick start and tried to kick my shifter to start the bike. It bent a few parts in the shifter assembly, which I replaced but it still doesn't shift quite right. What could be the problem? Considering he kicked that sucker down really hard...

Re: How to kick-start an r6
Dunno for sure but it could have thrown off the transmission internally...they aren't exactly designed to be kicked into gear.

Re: How to kick-start an r6
1st. HAHAHAHA!
2nd. If he jumped on that sucker he probably ****ed the shiftdrum, shiftdrum mechanism, shifter fork inside gearbox.
You say nothing about what you changed, and how it's not shifting properly.
If it's hard to get into 1st gear, find neutral or get into 2nd you need to split the bottom end and replace parts in the transmission.
