You say nothing about what you changed, and how it's not shifting properly.

If it's hard to get into 1st gear, find neutral or get into 2nd you need to split the bottom end and replace parts in the transmission.
I don't have problems finding gears, and that makes me think that it's not the transmission (thank goodness). But it just feels stiff, like when I up or downshift, it gets stuck and I have to use my toe to bring it back to the middle spot.

Freak. I don't know it that makes sense, it's difficult to explain.

yea if it gets stuck check to see you installed the spring washer and other washer correctly, if not it will stick, ask me how i know.

Yeah it's a crazy story, I couldn't believe it either. When he came in and told me what had happened, I totally thought he was messing with me.

I'm home with a broken ankle, so I'll take a look and make sure it's not rubbing on anything.
