Yeah, I was on a bit of a rant.. haha sorry about that. But even though it's not ALL bad here in Hawaii, it COULD be a lot better if the state gave a crap about riders here.
The California Superbike thing is for military only I believe.. I'm pretty sure it is anyway, but it sounds fun. Maybe I'll see if I can get into that.

If you are hardcore, if you "need" track time you will suffer. If you're like the rest of us you get up a little earlier on the weekends to get a ride around the island w/o traffic in.I have 4 awesome turns on my way to work and I work on hitting those w/good lines, body position and a safe-for-the-stree-but-still-somehwhat-fast corner speed. I bet those who have never been here would be awed by a run up H3 and over the Pali.
