A friend of mine is looking to get ride of his completely stock 2011 6 pretty cheap, $6k. He's having some financial problems and wants to get ride of it pretty quick. It's in great shape, I'm thinking about selling my 07' and picking it up. What do you guys think I could get for my bike? I never tend to go by book values.. it seems like price really varies by time of the year, location etc. It has 14.5k, all stock except for an integrated taillight and shorty levers, new rubber, runs excellent. The thing is it might have to be a somewhat quick sale, I'm not sure how long he'll have his 6.. that's a pretty good price.
You can get around $4500 or so here I would think. Might be able to get 6K on craigslist to some noob. haha WHats the reasoning for bothering with this? It's essentially the same bike.

You're better off holding onto yours until spring, because prices are much better for sellers during riding season. Buy that 2011 though if you want it! That's a great price!

It just seems like an awesome deal, and I love the blue/white color scheme the 11's have. It has 6,500 miles on it and it's super clean, clean title. I'm thinking about putting mine on craigslist with a high asking price just to see if someone bites lol. I only paid $3,900 for mine with 11k. But yea, I was thinking spring would be the best time to sell, just not sure if he'll still have his bike then lol.
