2002 R6 for $2000 But....

the bikes partially taken apart the clutch cable, air box, gas tank, chain and battery are not hooked up. apparently the guy did a motor swap the new motor has 5300 miles. other than that the motor radiator and all the electrical components are all installed. The guy is asking $2000 but willing to go as low as $1800. Cosmetically the bike is beautiful, has a rebuilt title and the price is too good to be true. i want to jump in but at the same time not so much without starting it up.

btw im new to bikes but im going to check it out with a guy who knows about them, thing is the seller is 200miles away so if its not worth it i dont want to waste my time or gas so think its a big risk or just pass it off

Rebuilt title and not running. 1k tops imo.
Now if he pots it together and it runs flawless then maybe 1800

MCN consumer guide lists an 02 r6 as 3500$ in good condition... no way possible its worth 2 grand not running.

Thats BS to. Not saying you're wrong I believe mcn said that but 35 for a 02 is insane.

Honestly, how hard is it top put the battery back in and the air box and tank back on so you can at least see it run
