Fuel Light Question : Yamaha R6 : R6 Forum

I know this is a bad thing to do but I have an 05 r6 and when I tend to run the bike till the fuel light comes on. Is it normal for the check light to come on and once I pump fuel back in. It went away. I just go the bike not to long ago but was just curious about it. Any info will help

I don't remember the check engine light ever coming on just because when the fuel light was on.

The gas was pretty empty i believe. I went to fill it up and rode it about 40 miles. No check light came back on yet. I Hope it doesnt come back on
