2003 R6 value??

i'm looking to get my first 600 but i'm on a budget of $3000. is it possible to find a nice 03 r6 for 3 grand or am i dreaming?

Absolutely! You can find a nice bike for $3k

Depends a little bit on where you're located. In southern California, you'd be pushing it a little to find a nice specimen for that much, but even here, it's probably doable if you're patient.

You can probably get a 2006 3rd generation for $3500 during winter time

I'm sure you can get one for 3k. Like mentioned above maybe even a 3rd gen for just a bit more.

Hell I bought my 05 in Texas for $3,750. Same generation but two years newer. I would imagine you could get a decent 03 for around $3,000.

Just be prepared to offer it in cash. Nothing modivates a seller quite like crisp, clean $100 bills.

its possible,i saw a 03 trackbike here in l.a. CL for 2k. passed on it coz a friend might sell his 05 track bike for 3-3.5k.
