Also, if you ever go to the track, you've likely seen one of those last generation camaros or firebirds hit a mid track bump and blow one of the t-tops off, which flies up in there air and comes down and shatters...

its a 2005 with an m4 exhaust, k&n air filter, and its lowered 3" in the rear. In the spring I want to add a power commander, quickshifter, lower the front forks, and get a -1 front sprocket. Hopefully this will get me in the 9s

I know it is mostly the advantage the offer. I believe its even in the NHRA rulebook, at least for sportsman motorcycle that most of us run. There are all sorts of bullshit rules, like your tank has to have the manufacturer name on both sides...some even require a headlight or representative decal....
Ill be the first to say that I HATE the NHRA, its bullshit politics, its asskissing, and its flip-flopping dirtbags in positions to make rulings.
