help with 04 R6

I'm pretty sure my TPS is bad on my bike. Its boggy in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear and just a few days ago it shut off completly while riding and didn't want to ture back over. Where is the TPS located at and how would I go about fixing it or knowing it's bad.

First off you can test the voltages coming from the TPS sensor. I just did this the other day on my 2002. The service manual tells you how to do this, on page 365:

All you need to buy is a multimeter ($10-25). If the readings are out of spec, replace it.

You can also adjust the angle of the TPS, as described on page 366.
