Not trying to start an argument, used Flowmaster in the past but they are horrible quality and flow like shit. Seen quite a few blow apart and compared to an equally priced magnaflow or Borla the flow is horrible.
Woa! Guess I won't be going that route next setup.
Thanks for the tip.
(excuse typos, as this was a mobile posting)

Flowmaster is crap. Im sorry, not to offend, but that shit sucks and theyre cheap quality. They used to be a little better.... I could literally drive to their HQ and buy their mufflers and I still wouldnt.
If you want a super sturdy, bad ass sounding, high quality, nearly bulletproof muffler, look into SpinTech, specifically the Sportsman or the Sportsman XL if you want a little quieter. Shit sounds WAAAAAY better than blowmaster, flows better, and will last a lot longer.
The ONLY downside Ive seen other than maybe they look kinda boxy is that they are heavy. Heavy in a good way though.

While we're truck stuff ... the shocks on my new-to-me Silverado seem to be completely shot, at least the fronts. Like, push on the front bumper, instruct the girlfriend to make me a sandwich, and by the time I'm done eating, the truck is still cycling.
Any suggestions? Bilstein HDs? There anything else I should check out?

I have the bilstein 5100s, the silver ones, and they are every bit of fcuking awesome and worth every cent of the $300 they cost me. Im on an 02 ram 1500 and it still drives nice, a little firm, but it keeps me driving nicely and in control on a 2 inch level and 34s. A little stiff over some stuff, but all good really
