Re: 100 Miles and Damn Nail in back tire

I have patched and plugged a couple tires and it had always worked. Not having the peace of mind sucks especially if it riding aggressive. If it happened again I would just buy a new one

I'm riding a patched q2 now. Its been about 3k miles and a track day since I popped it. You know what sucks worse than a nail? A splinter...that's what popped my tire.

Re: 100 Miles and Damn Nail in back tire

I had this happen to my rear s20 after 60 miles so I feel your pain!

I felt more confident just replacing it and I sold my punctured one locally on craigslist for $60. The piece of mind you lose with patching/plugging it just wasn't worth it to me, but I also was going out to the track the next weekend.

I would just replace it, and sell the "old" one locally! S20's are super cheap right now, and you really wouldn't need to replace the front, consider the mileage.
