Nice! I f'n love that race. The sound of 200mph bikes roaring around a city is surreal. That tight right turn 3 (Lisboa) is about the only turn with any runout, and it's maybe a hundred feet. Most of those barriers are either Armco, or a big stack of tires tied together and covered in plywood with moly bolts. The first few years I went "safety" crews would run out before the bikes went on track and strap nasty old mattresses to the Armco in turn 1. I always thought it looked like covering a cheese grater with tissue paper.

Sadly, two guys died this year. A rider from Portugal and a driver from HK. RIP. I was there quite a few years and never saw a casualty.
