06/07 YEC FI Matching System - ETV Values - Help

I've recently bought a 2007 R6 ex-racebik in supersport setup, lots of YEC goodies, ECU, wiring loom, bell mouths, generator, cams, big radiator etc. It's a lovely bike with loads of spares.

I'm looking at the configuration setup on the ECU and trying to understand the ETV Values.

At this is a 2007 machine, there are two fields. Comp ETV1 and Comp ETV2. I understand its for opening or closing the ETV for softening the torque on acceleration or reducing the engine breaking.

But which ETV value is for which? If I was to follow the 2008+ ECU setup, ETV1 is acceleration and ETV2 is engine braking. Even the YEC manual doesn't make it clear (as per usual!)

Does anyone have any experience with this?

if the bike was pretty well set up, and had THAT amount of stuff (cams, rad, etc) and the rider didn't mess with etv1, i would leave it alone. But honestly, i have no idea what it does, i have never adjusted it.

Yes, etv2 is engine braking .. and adding a value in the cells from 1-30 will make it slip more. as in "0" is the most engine braking, 30 would be near free wheeling into the corners. Do not put any values in the 4000 rpm row.

Yes the bike is set up well, but personally it need a tweak here and there for it to suit my riding style and conditions (the bike is an import and set up in the UK). But I also want to fully understand it.

ETV values for the 06/07 YEC ECU are -100 to +100% (for both ETV's), not 0-50 (or 1-30 as you state)

Also, the there is an ETV map, where it selects either ETV1 or ETV2 depending which gear its in.
