Arrow What do you get when you buy a 2006 R6

I am buying a 2006 R6 second hand.

Would like to know what is the list of items included in the package that Yamaha gives during the purchase of the 2006 R6 first hand.

Something along the lines of:
2 Keys (with keychain?)
Owner's manual?
Servicing manual?
Bag containing these stuff?

Thanks!

2 keys, owner's manual, blue bag with some tools and off course all the paper work. I can't think of anything else

Hope so lol.
it just depends on what they have left. I was lucky enough to get the rider manual, service manual, key, key ID tag, tools, and all service records

You can download manuals via the world wide web if they are not included.

Where are you located? Depending on where you are, you might even have the rear foot peg block offs.

Oh I'm from the UK. But there are some papers that say the bike was manufactured in California and sold in the UK (if that matters).

Make sure the paperwork is in order and that it is indeed a US spec bike. A UK spec R6 should always be accompanied with 3 keys. 2 black and 1 red (Master key) as they have an immobilizer. The master key is the only way to replace and re-program lost or malfunctioned keys. Without it you’re SOL and, unfortunately, a few people here can attest to that. To find out if your bike has an immobilizer, look at the meters. If you see an led with an image of a key beneath it, it has an immobilizer and should come with the aforementioned set of keys.

Good luck!

Canadian version has the three keys and immobilizer as well. I have my red one in my safe deposit box (a.k.a Gun locker) so I dont lose it, otherwise you are out some big bucks for sure.

I think some of them came with wheels stands as well if I am not mistaken. I think they were just cheap ones though and that might have been a dealer incentive, can't quite remember.

Link to the service manual, Owner Manual and parts list catagolue:

Enjoy.

I see so, does a California manufactured version have 3 keys and an immobiliser?
