ouch... sorry to hear man... I live in NYC as well, insurance on both my 09 R6's, $189/yr for theft and liability on the track bike, $309/yr full coverage on the street bike. $82/yr liability on the honda cruiser (who is going to steal a honda cruiser lol). $130/yr theft and liability on a 05 zx6r stunter... going by some of the prices you guys are listing, I'm insuring all 4 of my bikes for less, sounds like you guys need to find better insurance agents.

DAMN! those insurance numbers suck guys hate to hear about stolen bikes. Move to Atlanta, 250/yr comprehensive coverage

I'm currently 29, prices were lower 4 years ago when I was 25, largely due to the wreck i had 3 years ago (even though it was the other drivers fault). I live in northeast queens in what used to be the #2 town in the country of automobile thefts. I have been cited for 5 speeding violations in my life time (none within the past 5 years though), beat 4 of them, had one reduced to a 1 point infraction. I currently have a minor 2 point infraction sitting on my record that counts as far as insurance goes.

Jumped the gun and didn't see this post. I couldn't get anywhere near that when I lived on Long Island - granted I was 21 at the time. In Los Angeles now and I still can't get anywhere near that. Cheapest I could find for full coverage was in the $1500 / yr range.
