Burned through 550 rds today at my folks place.... My folks went through another 400.... And we blew up a couple of impact targets. The neighbors must have thought we were having a war here.... my shoulder is sore from the 200 shells I put through the shotgun.... Also fixed the sorta jacked up rear sight on my p99... It is fcuking money now.
Shot my mom's .40 HK USP compact. That will be my next handgun outside of a .22 fcukoff pistol. That thing was god damn awesome.
Got to shoot my 642 airweight SW revolver too. I can hit the dirtybird tarkets from 25' pretty much every time, but pattern is a loose term. Now from 15', Im pretty decent and even center punched a couple of targets. If you know the colored dirtybird targets, you know that bullseye is pretty small.
And being out in the middle of nowhere where you literally only hear the noise you, the wind, and the other animals make is absolutely amazing.
Hayden was LOVING it too... He's sick with diarrhea and a double ear infection, but he still ripped around pretty much non-stop.
All in all, a pretty successful thanksgiving vacation with the parents.

I was sitting on the bench next to the front door with the shotgun shooting a paint bucket until it wouldnt roll anymore. Then I got up, moved in back in, and did it again. Fired the .300 wthby mag at the first impact target. Im 99% sure the rifle report was louder than the impact target.
