recently bought my r6 with 24000 miles... it depends on the maintenance and if it was taken care of. if you dont know the guy then i would try bringing the bike to a mechanic to see if anything needs serious replacements but apparently bike goes up to 100k+ if its taken care of but most doesnt reach that much. before i bought my 04 r6 i did some research and thats what i got.
