It blows It is a class about the college student, we talk about social media, parents, for profit universities, and anything about universities and students. I had to write a paper on what made me persist in college (family, jobs, etc.) for this class to help me understand other students persistence. For this project I had to pick a subpopulation on college campuses. Some did the GLBT community, fraternities and sororities, furries (people that dress up in animal costumes), etc. I chose students that had/have bikes during college. It is for my masters. I don't know what else to say about it.

Re: Class Work Help

a degree is what people are persistent about. Plain and simple. No learning in class is going to help solve real life problems

A degree is what will help with the first step as in a job search, rest is upto you and solving real life problems.

Screw classes and : :

Trust me on this, I went 4 years undergraduate, 2 years masters and 7 years PhD.....I am effed up in my head now : and still dont know didly squat

aint that the truth...a degree is only the stepping stone though. Every tom dick and harry can get a degree these days. You can only differentiate yourself once you start interviewing and start a job.

Re: Class Work Help

"tom dick and harry." That is that sad part, anyone can get a degree and that is not enough anymore. Now it takes going past undergrad and getting a masters+ and/or work experience to really help yourself.

Re: Class Work Help

I know from experience, folks with higher degrees are useless when it comes to solving real life problems.

Example....ask a PhD to use a pipe wrench to fix a leak.....

Seen one use a hammer to get the insulation off a wire when all he needed was a blade

Dont get me started bro....degree is worthless if you cant really do stuff.
