Apparently it's illegal to park on the concrete next to Walmarts front doors... Been parking in the same spot 2 years straight. Today ended up with a 175 dollar ticket. FML.
I think I'm gonna fight it... There were no signs posted up no parking and I wasn't on the painted red no parking zone I was 5 feet beyond it...
that is really harsh, is it a real ticket? or from some managment company that cant legally enforce it? you should also talk to Wal-Mart, they offer handicap , mothers with small kid, Green / eco parking, and RV's on the lot over night, ask about some M/C parking.

I've never understood how motorcyclists feel they have the right to park on a sidewalk.
I've now been seeing signs stating no motorcycle parking on them, so they are catching on to us.
You are potentially blocking emergency personnel.
Carry a kickstand pad.
If I am thinking of basically the same spot I don't see a problem really. I don't see a point in taking up a spot that a car could use. So I usually park around where they have the lawn mowers at.
i had security tell me i cant do this its illegal and a fire hazard...really? parking 20 ft from the entrance next to a concrete wall is a fire hazard?? in no way is the bike in anyones way nor would it be in the way of law enforcement or paramedics if an emergency did happen....they usually leave it alone but then sometimes you get those super top flight security guards of the world saying you cant.....id just pay it and be done with doubt youll win it to be honest.

I've been frequenting the same WalMart for the past several years and see motorcycles and police officers parked by the entrance/exit doors ALL THE TIME! WalMart must have complained about your bike? I've never heard of it being an issue before at any WalMart.
