Theres a dude on the gixxer forum that put a liter gsxr engine in his 600 gsxr. Simple enuff, he drilled new holes on the frame and put washers between the bolt to hold it up.

You can bore more than 2mm without issue on these bikes? I don't see you getting 713 without stroking....
Look into making yours up to the 05 standards. They have larger throttle bodies, more fuel pressure as well. Slide stops, ignition advance, and I'm sure there's other stuff you could do to squeeze a few more HP out of the bike.
Make it as efficient and light as possible!! My bike RIPS, but is also very light (Sub 350 lbs dry).
I'd just buy a bigger bike, or put a small shot of juice to it. Easier to buy a bigger bike
