PoA is exactly what we had to do. Ended up wiring the final funding from Delaware.
Why are you nervous about what you spent? $250K over 30yrs at 3.3% what's your payment like less than a grand? I'm a real estate attorney and where I come from that's a pretty good deal. Of course with your house being in Cali it's probably no bigger than a broom closet for that price but you still got a good deal.

Naw our house is 1900 sq ft. Currently living in a broom closet though and pay 2k in rent. Rent is socal is super high its cheaper to own. Our payments are a little more than 1400 a month. Mostly because taxes are like 2.25%. For the area and the house we got a great deal. They are working on phase 6 or 7 right now with 13 more to go and are asking 15k more than we paid and still selling out.

Well got the call at 4pm to come and pick up the keys and sign for them. A whole day early. What sucked is that I was not expecting that and the babysitter had to go to class at 5pm. Oh well time to start packing pics to come tomorrow.
