Instead of creating another thread, I'm asking my question here.
Did I dun goof?
I didn't pay attention when I grabbed them on Friday, but are these the wrong ones for my 05?
and
Sorry for the hijack, didn't think another thread was needed though.
You want the road race ones. G177 or G175. One is an extra 3mm diameter for bigger hands and more comfort. One is 29mm and the other 32. They are the road roace dual compound Kevlar ones.
I just compared to the sets left over after the backorders for everyone who hit me up from this thread. Going out tonight guys!!
I've also got a couple of the hard and medium race grips that are a bit shorter so they don't tear up on the ground easily. They also are pretty awesome since they are so thin. You get epic feedback through em and they last forever and many crashed too.
Hmmm.. Never really considered that.. Didn't know it was a thing! Maybe if you wouldn't mind shooting me a price, for when I'm ready to deal with that!
Cause.. This is what I'm looking at, and has no more length left! Throttle side isn't quite so bad, but same idea. Guess it's not totally maxed out, but don't really feel safe having them right at the end.
Some people like em far out man! Other people need the extra 1 inch for the woodcraft brake guard to fit on for the new AMA tech requirement this season. They aren't much more bro. Like $15 tops. I have woodcraft ones in black in stock. HOLR

You guys gonna start running the lever guards on your bikes?
I sell and get Renthal grips. i am gonna be placing an order shortly for a bunch. Medium and Hards I think Whatever Gray is and black. Perfect for racers. Razor thin, last forever, and they are short so they don't hit the paement easily.
Otherwise, I've got plenty of the superbike pro-grip grips that feel similar, but are softer to the hand and are the correct length.
Come at me bros so I know how many to order.

Interested Chief...just not sure which ones to buy. Thinking the 29. Still running stock, think I'll need to decide on some clip-ons as well. Thoughts?

Gonna have to. :/
I can say tho, I've witnessed two crashes this year that a brake guard could have prevented.
One when I got ass packed at 145 MPH and somersaulted the bike immediately and it continued to slam my rear tire as it tumbled and then sent me off track with a nice final impact with a 20 mph boost.
Then at AMA my friend hit the tail of a rider and same thing happened. Same spot. 150 MPH in the AMA supersport race. After seeing 15-20 bikes dodging him at that pace as he laid unconscious, I'm sold on it for sure.
It will prohibit the use of a canyon dancer unless u take it on and off to load the bike. It's a requirement for this season.
