And Mexico has been bad a long time. Big reason I changed jobs was to get away from traveling down there monthly. But until the people of Mexico decide to stand up and fight back there is nothing that can be done. But they are now starting to become the victims so hopefully they will start to fight for themselves soon.
While I agree in part; just how do you expect the citizens of Mexico to "fight" back against paramilitary groups, many who outgun much of the Mexican army??? You know they can't own arms, right?
Also, some have started to fight back (Matazeta's come to mind) but this has created other issues entirely...

Oh I agree. It's no going to be pretty and they are def going to new help. They just need to stand up and ask for it and be prepared for the results. I used to work alot in Reynosa, Comargo area down to Monterey and drive and fly into Mexico City. I didn't see it much it the City but birds town they ran rampant with the Federalies and Army scared of them. And a big reason is they had no support from the city.
But many people in the cities had the me taking that they were nt being picked on so who cares. They started with foreigners and then the rich extorting them for money. And the residents could have care less. It was not until recently that they turned on the poor they finally care what is going on. But in the end you have 2 choices run or fight. By what ever means you have you have to make the notice on which you want to do.

You made a very valid point there; some of these small cities do not even have police presence because they've been run out of town (As you stated, no support); I agree.
As I've stated in another post, it won't be until the US get involved (somehow) that will be the catalyst for this to stop, but than I fear it may just move to another country. Who knows when this will end... The Mexican people ARE getting tired of this but there I no one to organize a revolt of some kind because, they will be killed...Many have tired, many ended up in a box.
