Advise

Hi , I was wondering if anyone could give me some advise on the following
I have just sold my dirt bike and are in the market for a road bike I've had my eye one a r6 2001 model with 40 k on 321028355478 clock??
Is around 4000 a good price for these models, or should I be looking for something else , as its my first road bike for a long time???????
Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you

Well, OP does not give much information. So we need to guess:

- Assuming 4000 is 4000 US dollars,
- Assuming 40K is 40K Miles, not km
- Assuming you live in the US, really depends on market (area), but this one is far enough off it really doesn't matter
- Assuming no REALLY expensive mods (Ohlins suspension, ...)

Assuming all the above, no it does not sound like a decent deal.
