Got suspension!?

Picked up the forks this afternoon along with the shock that got resprung along with some new seals and some valving!

Next order or business was to get these things installed!



Rear in!



Fronts on!



Also got the tank all put back on and hooked up. I need to re-route the brake lines. (got them twisted during fork install)

Got it fired back up and rode it up and down the condo complex! The suspension feels amazing! Sooooo smooth and even across the front and rear. I cant wait to go back to the track!

I was reading through your build and seen the post about Laguna. That bike looked familiar, lol. This is Eddie with the black n orange 09 R6, I was talking to you a bit about your bike. Looks like you're getting a lot of track time in. Laguna was a fun track, just did Infineon this past Thursday and that track is fun too.

Hey Eddie! Ive been wanting to go to Infineon /Sears Point/ Sonoma for a while. It is one of the closer tracks to me but will have to wait until next season unfortunately. Did you get those gravel scratches out?

I was surprised at how close Sonoma and Laguna were from Union City, used to making the trip to T-Hill. The scratches weren't bad at all, can't say much about them now though. Started to rain sooner than expected at Sonoma and I lost the front during the third session when it started to rain. Here's some pics: http://www.r6-forum.com/forums/showp...postcount=3150. That was going to be my last trackday for the year before getting her ready for track plastics.

Thats a total bummer man! Track plastics are the way to go! Im going to be in the market for some new ones hopefully in the coming months. Im really considering getting the ECU flashed next along with some rear sets.

Yep, got a set of Armour Bodies on the way. Anthony at Bauce Racing hooked it up with a smokin deal.

Got this thing all put back together and topped off with fluids.

Bike runs great with new plugs!

Went to Thunderhill yesterday for the last track day for me this year.

These Dunlop 211 tires are amazing! They had tons of grip all day long and seem to be wearing at a great rate. I think I am starting to favor stiffer carcass tires over the softer ones.







Took some video from the GoPro. This was in the afternoon after I was getting more comfortable with the new suspension that seemed to work really well. Braking seems much more efficient and it feels like I can use the brakes deeper into the turn and harder initially.

Time for some more upgrades... clipons, rear sets and a new chain and sprocket set.

Thats the plan! Ive been putting effort into tires, suspension and track time instead of go fast parts and so far it seems to be working for me.

Anhtony will definitely hook it up on anything you're looking for for the track!
