Take off the headers and all that BS... It's just extra weight anyway! Loud pipes (or lack thereof) save lives!

i actually just bought a gp exhaust and i have to say its loud and i agree with you about saving my life finally drivers will be hearing me

By "GP" do you mean some worthless slash-cut straight-pipe? Because that's basically the same thing as no headers.

yes pretty much i mean my friend has a 06' r6 with a jardine gp exhaust and nothing has happened to his bike

Just cut down the one you have. Just need a hacksaw or equivalent and go to town on it. Dont do the ebay gp one. Its just a piece of pipe and sounds horrible.

You may need to swap out the powerband. Do you know which color you have at the moment?

A lot of people told me the purple band is the beez neeZ.
