Completed and passed my NRS yesterday - final trackday of the summer, ended the track year in the most awesome way possible - getting a license to race Rematch with THill went well despite me giving the edge of turn one the stink eye out of the corner of my eye all day

Hahaha, mine were just amusing - if someone had been recording that it would have made a great comedy reel - first one I didn't have bike in 1st gear - it was in second or third Second start I wheelie it Third one was okay lol. In my defense I've never bothered with trying to start the trackbike quickly - would have been much smoother on my street bike

Wow they let you guys race when its pretty dark in the day! Or maybe the video just looked real dark...

Oh, it was that dark - they did two more starts after this (we went through 5 corners then took the cut across back to the start) and on the last one they had us do a "race to the checkered" full lap(s) - it was dark enough that with my sunglasses (which I still had on) and my lightly tinted shield I couldn't tell if they were waving the white or checkered flag after one lap....

ETA, it's not a race - just practice starts for those of us going through the NRS, but they let all the licensed racers come join in the fun.

Still need to grow a set and get the damn bike leaned over.
