That track looks like a blast! You may have just made that the track I plan to make the trip out for next season...

Chuck is good. Especially counter clockwise, so you don't have to go over the section that the cars make all bumpy.
It's a tricky bastard of a track to learn though. A lot of blind corners, rises, subtly decreasing radius turns, etc. Been out there three times and still feel like I don't know where the hell I'm going.
Yeah...18 or 19 turns...
I just work on one section at a time, then once I feel good there I start working on the next. I try to focus more on my lines than my speed. Once the lines are there, the speed comes easy. Well....so I'm told

Word. Many of the turns look really similar, but some of them open up, and some of them get tighter, and there's no big obvious landmarks cause it's out in the absolute middle of the desert. (Literally, the "town" is Desert Center.) The only turn I feel like I can really throw myself into is the bowl, and even that one, due to the banking, every time I do it I think "well, I could have gone through there like 10mph faster!".
The track is also deceivingly fast, despite having no major straights. Damn it, I want to get back out there ASAP now!
Adam - we should definitely do either Chuckwalla or Auto Club Speedway when you swing out this way. Or maybe both?
