2007 Toyota Corolla bro. 5 Speed. I only know how to go one way, and that's fast!!! Seriously though, I got 72k on the original brakes from doing MONSTER downshifts for all the off-ramps, etc. So then syncros started shitting out. One real hard shift to third was the last straw for it.

And used trannies are like $1500+ and who knows what you step in with them. So $2540 later, I'll have it back tonight. Luckily a friend owns a trans shop so I got a few bucks off the deal, but FML man. New clutch while they were at it too.

Worst thing is I only owe $1500 on the car and was about to make a move into something nicer (WRX). But now I'll just be stuck putting brakes and tires on this thing soon so I can keep commuting in it.

As much as I would LOVE to go to Jennings this year and split transportation costs with you Billy...it won't happen for me THIS year...maybe I'll get lucky and be able to make it happen next year though...fingers crossed..
