What router? Did you make any changes to it or have you been running it in it's default state? DNS errors aren't too common... unless you were screwing with settings... I'd get it replaced.
Get a router that is compatible with
this ... Best firmware to have on your router

It's a Belkin... I've not touched settings since I set up the network (entitled "Buy your own damn wifi!") with a password. Looks like I'm hitting best buy this weekend.
