Why not just buy some velcro and put it on the tail?
It's a GPX Pro. Big fancy display, shift lights, instrumentation and data recording and stuff. Basically could *almost* replace the dash with it, but I still need the dash for stuff like fuel light, temperature, etc.

For real though, dumb fcuks built a roll in in our back yard, and iced it over by the deck, and I watched her simply jump out of the yard the other day, and then sit by me. Somehow got to figure out how to knock the side off of this thing. I'm thinking an axe.

I don't want it mounted on the fork. I want it mounted on the fairing stay - in such a way that still lets me see the idiot lights on the dash.. If I wanted my gauges to move when I turned the bars I'd buy a damn cruiser.

Definitely don't need. I'm just a nerd and all the GPS mapping stuff seemed like it'd be really cool to play with. Should hopefully be useful in figuring out exactly what I did different on that fast lap. It was the yearly bonus extravagant purchase.
