Dude whats the deal with the front sprocket cover, its missing???
Ad I will try gp shifting this coming summer.
Dremel. Cut it off to make it easier to clean all the road gunk and chain lube off.

I don't know what all this rod bending is about. Mine is still straight and just goes outside of the frame. I wrecked and bent the rearset in a little so my shift rod rubs a little every once in a while, but no big deal.
Yea my 2002 can't just be flipped due to clearance issues
But I've ordered the woodcraft gp shift rod for $25 to try out go shifting next year. The downshifts are what concern me though, like melkman was talking about.
I bent the shift rod on mine over a year ago using the rim on my jeep. It still goes through the frame and I moved the linkage about 90 degrees. Works great! I put a write up on here when I did it and got $h!t on because people said it wouldnt work or would break my tranny. Been ridden hard on both street and track with no problems!

How did u go from 30 to 46??
Do u also shift from 2 to 6th? Lol j/k
I am #32 GP shift for my track bike... Street bike is still standard. Don't have an issue with GP, but when I have the ride the street bike, it gets a little iffy
