Didn't someone drag a peg through the new pavement on the first track day after the repave? All my friends that have been there are not big fans though - so I've never been very motivated to get up there.

I was there that day. Someone crashed and took out a chunk on the inside of the turn. After telling A group to keep it slow around that turn 3 people lost it and the pavement started to crumble. When they sent B group out the warning they gave us was as if the whole track had gone away. But the set up some cones and it was really not that big of a deal.

BUT I will say that the day I did after they fixed it I did not even notice it.

Don't hate until you come out for a day or two.


We have our eye on seven of these days next year.

I'm honestly cool with whatever, the cheaper the better since the trip in general will be a bit pricey... That just looks like a fun/fast track!

I'm sure I will be too at a new track. Course if I get a tow and learn some lines in the morning, I could spend two days getting faster... When I come out, I won't be pussy footing around... Let's do this!

If we went to Chuckwalla I would sign up for the beginner group. In fact Buttonwillow is the only track right now I will ride B group.

I'll ride beginner anywhere we go, then hope to get bumped... We shall see how it all plays out though... Having never been to any of those tracks, and relatively new to this, I'll take it easy until I learn some solid lines, then go crazy... and eventually wreck...

Hopefully that is NOT the case... I'll be coming out for a week or so, to have a good time, enjoy the Cali life a bit, and hit the track for some fun as well...

Not sure... Going to work things out with Scott. See when the bext track/trackdays are scheduled mid season, when I'll be between semesters, and when I can afford it... It'll be mid season next year most likely. Or possibly spring break... Who knows for sure. I'll get to planning after the new year... I'll keep you'z guys out there in the loop to see if we can get a good group out to the track!

Just be sure to check the track calender before you plan your trip. I'm sure you know this already....

I'm in for said forum track day for sure! I've been wanting to try Spring Mountian in Purump NV. Anybody run that track? All the instructors I ride with say it's by far the best they've been to. Gonna have to be a 2 day event to make it worth the drive up.
