Waiting for stupid code to build so I can get the F outta here. Stayed up until like 2:30 last night looking at track video & pics and my caffeine intake is starting to not keep up with my tiredness.
Sounds like you need to catch up on some sleep brudda...
it was heat of the moment, and seemed like a great idear.
It WAS much easier to deal with the valves though..
Seemed like an easier alternative to smashing my knuckles on shit, and not being able to see while doing the valves and cleaning EVERYTHING up.
Ive done a few car motors, and I'd honestly prefer those over the bike. Hard to balance the god damn motor on a jack stand while trying to go in and out. suppose an extra body would aid that.
Out was the easy part! I was flustered and didn't note where all the engine mount bolts and bushings went! so.. Should be interesting.
How was putting it back in? Any noteworthy tips so I'm not pulling my hair out over something easy?
It's still sitting on the bench . I'll put it back in after Christmas since I'll have free time again, the only thing I do is make sure all the wires are out of the way so I don't pinch them off. I've done that before.... It's very simple, as long as the motor is together, it slips in without issue.
