I'm in for said forum track day for sure! I've been wanting to try Spring Mountian in Purump NV. Anybody run that track? All the instructors I ride with say it's by far the best they've been to. Gonna have to be a 2 day event to make it worth the drive up.
Pahrump is really nice. Only been there once, but I think I still prefer Fontana and Chuck over it. I would definitely not hesitate to make the trek out there again. The track and facilities are great. The end of the back straight is really wavy - I'm guessing from cars doing hard braking there, but it makes the rear wheel skip all over the place when you're on the brakes. The rest of the track is damn near perfect though.

Yeah what I'll do is plan a couple rough dates, run them by Scott(Fallis) and we can see what tracks have days that would work and plan from there. Once we pencil in dates that work, I'll start a thread and invite everyone out, the more the merrier! It'd be a blast to meet more forum members and all have a good time together at the track!

I'll ride beginner anywhere we go, then hope to get bumped... We shall see how it all plays out though... Having never been to any of those tracks, and relatively new to this, I'll take it easy until I learn some solid lines, then go crazy... and eventually wreck...
Hopefully that is NOT the case... I'll be coming out for a week or so, to have a good time, enjoy the Cali life a bit, and hit the track for some fun as well...

You weren't even at my track when I highsided. Also, don't ride scared, tense, or otherwise... You're just setting yourself up to get target fixated, or make a mistake and wreck... Ride loose, relax, have fun out there and add speed as you go!

I def dont ride scared, but im also realistic. Its bound to happen sooner or later. Im aiming to be in track skins by that time :flex

Ahhhh, gotcha. I won't be going out there to wreck by any means.. I ride relaxed and have fun. Course I will say, my morning sessions are night and day difference from my afternoon sessions. I take it slower, get used to the track, work on BP and lines, then in the afternoon it's a whole different gear... I'm out there trying to really pick up the pace and have some fun. That's what I'll be doing on a new track when I come out... Going to learn braking points, lines, apex's, and all that jazz all morning, then turn up the heat!
Looking forward to planning and getting out there! Not only to meet everyone that can make it from the forum, but also to have a blast out on the track together!

As much as I love hearing her rip, I've forund that in video editing, the wind noise is just annoying to hear for that long. Even with the sealed GoPro case, the wind noise is still apparent. Maybe on oy next vid, I'll bring in the engine notes from time to time.
