Where's my title???

I just recently paid off my bike, took long enough. I still haven't received the new title minus the lien. How long does it usually take to get this document? Its been about a month now since payoff.

4-8 weeks I guess. Best to call bank to confirm handling times

Yeah, I mailed them (Yamaha Motors Card Services) and they said it was released. Also if I didnt get it yet I should fax a request to get a duplicate. Thats what I just did. So now I gotta wait again. Just wanted to know if anyone had this same problem. I know the Yamaha credit card was now being handled by Capital One. Just dont want my account to get lost in the shuffle.

ain't it funny how you never hear from them when you need something, but they're the first to get on the horn with you when a payment is late?

banks are a bunch of assholes...

capital one was good sending me a refund when I overpaid on the payoff for my car, albeit $8.53

i just paid my bike off my self about a month an ahalf ago the bank or yamaha card will send it to your states DMV an release the lain on it and then your DMV will mail it to you its all on how long the DMV takes to do the paper work and how long the bank takes to mail it out i had mine in about 3 weeks

Usually takes 30 days UNTIL they start the paper work. Then add a few days to mailing them.

Depends in the state, in Missouri you have to go file for a new title and present the lien release paper.
