Dude, I named about 5 in respect that I'd take over Tony Romo.

Seriously though - draft a ****in' QB. Pick up Alex Smith (I know how Steph is gonna feel about this comment). Anything but Tony Choke-O.

I cannot say this enough:

Cowgirls will only do good once JJ relinquishes his GM duties, doesnt interfere with coaching staff, does not give more press conferences than the coach.

How can a player respect a coach if he knows he's not really the one making decisions?

There's no way this will happen though. Even if JJ dies, he will come back as one of those Star Wars ghosts.

I'm pretty sure Jerry Jones played Emperor Palpatine:

Hopefully this is their year. I've read teams are looking at their O-coordinator and D coordinator for possible head coaching jobs.
You know, I am good and bad on it. I mean I hate Alex Smith with a passion because he is like San Francisco's Romo. He has been playing well, but after how many seasons of crap. He's not confident, he's not young, he's damaged goods, and the fans just dont like him. I mean its not like the guy did anything other than get hurt to lose his job, but then, we need to think about the future, and his contract is coming up, so how long do we want to be smoking off the Smith pipe? I don't think he has what it takes and while Kaep is young and prone to make mistakes, he is exciting to watch, he has been playing well, he's tough, he's confident, and I actually think he carries himself like the team leader. The fans seem to like him, so does the team. I think he is a good choice for the future, maybe, but the middle of the season when your current starting quarterback is still doing decent probably isnt the time or place to evaluate that premise. And while I dislike Smith, I feel bad for the guy on some level. Right when he starts playing decent-ish, he gets kicked to the curb.

My guess is that Kaep's leash will be short because we cant lose to the fcuking sorry ass Rams. Lack of production or an int. and Smith is going in. And you can almost guarantee Smith will come in hot. He has to, and not just for the Niners. He is fighting for his job, and ultimately, a contract with whatever team picks him up after he jumps shit on his bullshit situation. As much as it pains me, I know Alex has the experience in the playoffs, so Kaep continuing to do well will either be all win or a big loss, at least for this season, and this season we have a shot, no doubt.

Now if Akers could just make some fcuking field goals.... Really though....

I completely agree, wholeheartedly. Jerry, himself, admitted that he would have fired the GM, if it were someone else at the helm... How the **** you admit that and STILL DON'T relinquish duties is beyond me...sigh

Well, the dark-side was in power for a while, so maybe we'll get some wins in that case...

Dallas needs a coach before anything else. They need to cut down on penalties and call come real pass plays. All romo is throw check downs every play. Finally they have a secondary so that's not the excuse anymore. Now it's coaching and qb.

There something to be said about releasing the wide receiver coach as well, those guys are never on the same page....Missing routes makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes...

Raiders....nuff said. Only thing worse at this moment is being a Raider fan on the east coast. We have so many problems, we're doomed for god only knows how many more years. ugh...
