Clutch lever is so high because.... I don't know why it was so high, I swear it wasn't like that my last TD. Anyways, I noticed it after I had trouble getting my hand on it a few times and moved it down.

Clutching upshifts.... I don't have a quickshifter, and I would rather clutch it up then not. It wasn't a race, so the minimal lost speed is worth not putting extra wear on the transmission.

No extra wear if you can do it properly.

do it right and you mimic exactly what the quickshifter does. there's no extra wear on your gearbox.

Somewhere in the video I upshift without the clutch, and I can do it pretty well, I just don't see the potential for unneeded damage and use the clutch most of the time.

Knowing nothing about this, I'll ask... Without using the clutch, you still roll off the throttle momentarily for each upshift without the clutch?

yes. just put a little tension on the shift lever with your foot and roll off the throttle sharply. the shifter will pop into the next gear...

I've done clutchless shifts in my car before but never on my bike. I'll have to give it a try.
