I'll be a service member soon, granted I survive 12 weeks of hell at San Diego!

Due to leave on the 17th of December.

There's always one kid who cracks the first few days.

I just pray to god that I don't break family tradition and not graduate.

If anyone is set on joining the USMC, they should hit me up so I can get 100 recruiting points. Hook a brother up. Tired of being a 4 year lance with one of the highest cutting scores. Should be getting promoted within the year if all goes well though.

Are the Marines the only ones that have TA on hold because of sequester? I was just informed today when I was registering for my next class.

I'm not sure on TA since I'm a reservist, but I'm still getting my GI bill.

I saw an announcement for a TA hold for the army too. I was in the Corps until 2005, currently in the Coast Guard. The CG is still approving TA, hopefully the squeeze on education funding isn't permanent.
