True enough, but I prefer the front end of the 03-05, and the rear of the 06+. Plus I likehaving something a bit different from every other R6 on the road.

Re: 06S Raven Mods... So far..

Have you thought about splitting the seat pans from both gen bikes ? just use the orininal front and the rear half from the newer bike ? Use a peice of that street sign on the top of the pan and under the seat foam; that should be strong enough.

Seems the easiest way. If you could do measurements for the subframe to come out even then the seat should be a breeze !

Yeah i actually have my neighbor looking into it right now, he does upholstery for a living. I did most of the work on this thing, but now im getting lazy haha. Great idea though, i was just gunna give him both seats and the bike and say "figure it out".

Also added a smoked windshield, and converted to dual headlights using masterjj's kit.

Lights off

Dual Headlights all on

Low Beam only
Looking everywhere for details on how to do this and would it work etc,
After seeing this im defo changing the tail on my 2005 R6 Trackbike

Re: 06S Raven Mods... So far..

Nice swap. That is def an '05 bike though. Not an '06 S. IMO its a better bike anyway. O% was the best year for 2nd gens. Good work man.

Why bother with a swap on a track bike. Your are going to crash it, then it will be hard to fix with the conversion. I understand for street bikes though. Don't take the crash comment wrong. It is just going to happen if you are on the track a lot. Fact of life.
