I have an 07 r6 with 13xxx miles. It has some minor scratches. Ive been looking for another bike. The Guy I got my 07 from picked up an 09 r6 that seems practically perfect with 11xxx miles. I'm thinking about swapping him plus some boot of course. Ill add pics of both bikes. Let me know what you think.

the 09 looks lowered and wheels polished. Squids usually do that and I dont know many that take care of the bike. I hope u keep the 06 as it looks better (outwardly).

I'd recommend keeping the 06.

I agree, I say keep the 07. Seems like unless it's really worth it, swapping getting a new bike could be a problem. I'm not a fan of lowered bikes either (don't know how tall you are but you could probably want to get it raised).

I actually tip toe my r6 now. I'm rather small. I'm not sure if the 09 is lowered or if its the angle. Basically wanting to know preferences. I checked the site and saw that there wasn't much change from year to year.

plenty of difference between 06 and 09. Its best to leave it at stock height even if you have to tip-toe on it just for handling issues. If you plan on street riding only, then it dont matter really.

Get the 09 and go back to stock height. Looks like a clean bike to me
